Nighy's star finally began to rise in 2003 with his comic turn in Love Actually and dramatic role in State of Play. He's since delivered crowd pleasing perfomances in a range of film and TV projects, from Gideon's Daughter to Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
