Austin Wintory appears live at the Royal Albert Hall to discuss his career working across games like The Banner Saga and Assassin’s Creed, alongside composing for film and television. Wintory discusses bringing a touch of craziness to your work, pushing hard to think outside of the box and how psychoanalysing your characters can improve your music.
Austin Wintory is the youngest composer to ever receive a BAFTA nomination, and gained critical acclaim with the soundtrack for a fellow University Student’s thesis project, which soon became the BAFTA-nominated Flow. He went on to work on The Banner Saga and Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate in 2015. In 2012, he earned two BAFTA wins for the game Journey.
