Laura Poitras’ film Citizenfour picked up both the BAFTA and Oscar for Best Documentary. Earlier this year, BAFTA Scotland brought together the key players from The Guardian who were responsible for breaking one of the biggest stories of the decade: Edward Snowden's decision to blow the whistle on the activities of the National Security Agency. The panel included Luke Moody (Film and Distribution Manager, BRITDOC), Stuart Millar (Head of News, Guardian UK), Ewen MacAskill (Defence and Intelligence Correspondent, Guardian) and was chaired by Shelley Jofre.
